Speaking Kids are fun (with the emphasis on fun!) sessions for children aged 4 - 9 years where parents stay with the children so that they can learn how to encourage their children to speak clearly, confidently and enthusiastically with the use of pictures, toys, rhymes and acting.
These sessions are private one to one sessions or come with a friend and their child and split the cost.

Following Instructions
Our aim is for the children to be able to speak confidently in sentences, not just one word statements and for them also to be able to understand what is being said to them when long sentences are used.
This increases their confidence and sets them up for life.
Children who can use and understand more complicated speech find it much easier to settle into school and into other activities.
I hate to say it but it does give them an unfair advantage at school. They're able to express themselves to the teacher and at this age this means that the simplest tasks are much easier, (like asking to go to the toilet!)
The Rose Reforms
The Rose reforms suggest that all school children between the ages of 7 and 11 should have speaking lessons at school.
There is concern that many children start school with 'word poverty' being unable to put a sentence together.
These Speaking Kids sessions are ideal for showing parents how they can help their children improve their speaking skills.
Start your own Speaking Kids Business
If you're interested in starting your own Speaking Kids Business I can provide all the material needed for the first years trading. This will include a manual with all the details of how to run the business, how to advertise, how many children you will need and all the lesson plans and resources needed for the first year.
