Holiday Activities

During the school holidays there are plenty of holiday activities for the more physical children - running, football, tennis, swimming, dancing etc but what about children who want something a bit different?

In Corfe Mullen I run half day sessions for children aged 6 - 13 years, although older children who would like help and advice about getting into drama schools, onto agency books etc are welcome - please ask.

These cover writing poetry, perfroming poetry, discovering modern and traditional poets, acting out monologues and duologues.

Children get the chance to try their hand at being poets, they learn all about rhyming words, how to memorise words, how to read out loud at an audition,how to use props and most importantly how to use their voice effectively.

The sessions are 3 hours long and run from 9am - 12 noon or 1pm -4pm.

Each session costs just £12 with a maximum of 5 children per session so they all get a chance to take part.

If you book 2 sessions or more the cost is only £10 per session.

I am a qualified speech and drama teacher and have a CRB certificate.
